About iMigrate
iMigrate has been created to simplify and de-risk Lotus Notes Version to Version upgrades and migrations from other email platforms.
The technical infrastructure of Lotus Notes and Domino installations are constantly evolving as a result of many organisational and economic factors which affect companies going through change.
Migrating and consolidating Lotus Notes Domains along with the need to change organisational units and users' hierarchical naming structures are amongst the most complex infrastructure changes often required.
Potential reasons for needing to perform Domain migration and/or consolidation:
 | | |
 | | |
 | Consolidation of multiple Lotus Notes domains onto a reduced number as a result of a business merger or acquisition | |
 | | |
 | Changes to organisational unit names as a result of an internal reorganisation, such as company, brand name or location | |
 | | |
 | Migrating from an non Lotus Notes email platform | |
 | | |
 | Exercise to tidy up a legacy infrastructure which has become outdated and expensive to run | |
 | | |
 | | |
Prior to iMigrate a Lotus Notes Administrator would have performed the process by using the standard administrative tools supplied by Lotus - a manual, highly time consuming and complex process, with no supporting structure or methodology.
Now, iMigrate greatly simplifies the task, assisting users in the process by guiding them through step by step to ensure a succesful project, requiring significantly reduced expertise and a fraction of the time.
