Intec has a team of Java programmers who utilise the award winning IBM VisualAge for Java to offer business solutions in a variety of scenarios. Our Java skills are primary focused at utilising the core benefits of the reliable iSeries platform coupled with the cross platform versatilty of Java.

A typical server-side solution utilises Servlet, JSP and JDBC technologies to enable platform-independent web access to existing databases and applications. This architecture can be hosted on any Java-enabled webserver; for iSeries-specific solutions, IBM supplied iSeries access techniques can be implemented to optimise performance.

Examples of completed projects include the development of a web-enabled front-end to an existing iSeries database and the development of a Java applet for a Lotus Notes database solution.
