Intec acquires business of MK Data Systems Limited
Fleet, Hampshire, UK; Intec Systems Limited, founded in 1986 and established e-business solution providers has today announced the purchase of leading printing and connectivity solutions company, MK Data Systems Limited.
MK Data Systems Limited was formed over 12 years ago and has enormous experience in providing solutions predominantly based around the IBM Midrange platform.
This acquisition further underlines the Intec strategy to build growth both organically and by the acquisition of profitable investments that will add synergy to the existing portfolio.
Stephen Joseph, Managing Director at Intec, believes the acquisition strengthens Intec's position and widens their core competence offerings to new and existing customers. He said, "When we met with the Directors of MK Data Systems it quickly became clear that both companies share the same values and approach to business. With the added expertise and solution portfolio that MK Data Systems brings to Intec, we are able to provide more comprehensive one-stop shop solutions to all customers".
Mike Watts, Managing Director of MK Data Systems believes that Intec's pedigree in the IBM Midrange market makes them the ideal partner. "Like us, Intec have considerable experience in this area and our relative skills complement each other perfectly. This will inevitably provide exciting new opportunities for the whole business to grow".
As part of the deal Intec are retaining the services of all MK Data Systems technical staff, and are keen to ensure that business integration is handled professionally. Joseph added that "Intec are placing great emphasis on ensuring that the existing MK Data Systems customer base are at ease with this acquisition and we will ensure the excellent working relationship with them is maintained and enhanced. It is imperative over this period of change for the existing customers to feel confident in Intec's on-going ability to support them and to expand the industry knowledge which they have come to rely on".
