By working with our clients at management level to understand support requirements, as well as any particular problems and issues, Intec can deliver appropriate levels of high quality support.
Support teams are grouped by host platform, and expert teams support client applications on iSeries, UNIX, Lotus Notes and Network platforms.
Our approach means that each support package is formulated to meet the specific needs of our clients and their applications. Intec provides equally high quality support for those applications developed by our consultants, and existing applications.
The iSeries team support a variety of client application areas, including Sales Analysis; P&L; Sales and Management Information and Forecasting; Customer Order Management; Customer Service Statistics; Promotions; Rebates; Pricing and many more.
Our UNIX team has specialised application knowledge of Customer Profile, Sales Analyser and Quota applications. Collectively, these applications form a Trade Management for a multinational client. Intec's role includes providing a technical Helpdesk to provide support for the applications running on UNIX (RS6000 and HP9000); data warehousing and Oracle Express database.
The Lotus Notes team provide support service to our clients on applications developed by Intec; applications developed by our clients in-house team and also applications developed by other third parties. Current projects include supporting a multi-national pricing database; a training needs analysis database and an intranet project management database. Our PLP/CLP qualified specialists all have experience of Domino database development and web-enabled Notes solutions.
Applications supported by the Network support team include Customer Reporting, Sales Reporting & Forecasting, plus various cross-platform transfers built using the MS Access database.
