Speaking at Engage Next Week

Home » Speaking at Engage Next Week

Next week I’ll be at Engage. It was my first user group as a speaker back in 2010 and it has developed into arguably the premier user group for IBM Collaboration Solutions in Europe. This year IBM Champion (in perpetuity now) Theo Heselmans has gathered a stellar cast of speakers including some key IBMers, a host of IBM Champions and some others who will doubtless be future IBM Champions. With over 400 delegates already signed up to attend, it’s going to be a great conference.

I’ll be looking forward to catching up with old friends and new friends, speaking to the many IBMers attending, representing both Intec and OpenNTF, plus seeing sessions I was not able to get to at Connect as well as some new ones. On Thursday afternoon (1:30 Jupiter room) I will be reprising my IBM Connect session “Marty, You’re Just Not Thinking Fourth Dimensionally”: Troubleshooting XPages. This will cover a host of lessons learned for troubleshooting XPages lifecycle-related issues in a frenetic and (hopefully) entertaining manner. As before, the focus is not on the issues themselves, more the understanding of the steps in the process and the techniques to work out what’s going wrong.

I’m looking forward to a great conference and making good progress on a number of fronts.
