It’s now less than one week until ICON UK, and it’s going to be a busy day for me and Intec.
Intec are the platinum sponsor and Rooven Pakiri will be delivering Intec’s sponsor session at 10am.
My first session at 11am is What’s New and Next in OpenNTF Domino API. The API has grained great traction since ICON UK last year with two more releases and a host of new features and enhancements. I’ll cover many of the features which have changed the way I develop applications. I’ll also give some idea of what’s next and beyond.
My second session at 2:45 is on OSGi plugin development. After XPages OpenLog Logger, OpenNTF Domino API as well as plugins for customers, I’ve had quite a bit of experience of building extension libraries. I’ll be joined by John Cooper, a new speaker but someone I’ve known for a while and who also has experience of building and some quite sophisticated XPages applications. He has also blogged about plugin development.
In between, Tim Malone, Intec’s other IBM Champion, will be speaking about Mail.Next at 2pm.
With a booth and speed sponsoring at lunch, it’s going to be a busy day, with more to be announced before then.
